FoodFest@Ingliston is a brand new mouth-watering indoor food and drink event coming to Ingliston Country Club & Hotel in Bishopton during September weekend on Sunday 29th September 2019 to Monday 30th September 2019 from10:30am until 6pm each day. Food and drink lovers can expect a line-up of top-class chefs including, Scotland’s national chef Gary Maclean, MasterChef – The Professionals Winner and 2 Michelin Star Stephen McLaughlinhead chef of restaurant Andrew Fairlie at Gleneagles who will be showcasing their culinary skills on Ingliston Country Clubs purpose built stage. Visitors can indulge in food & drink stalls including a champagne bar, live music, whisky tastings and food masterclasses for the kids.

The foodie fun doesn’t end there, Stephen McLaughlin and Gary Maclean will also be on hand to help discover Scotland’s next Mini Master Chef!

Gary Maclean said: “I am thrilled to be attending Ingliston Country Club & Hotel’s first ever FoodFest@Ingliston event, you will be able to catch me on the Monday demonstrating some of my favourite dishes live on stage. A highlight for me will be getting to see the finalists of The Master Chefs of Great Britain Young Soup Chef of the Year Competition cook-off. I can’t wait to see what concoctions the entrants come up with!”.

FoodFest@Ingliston are welcoming children from across Scotland aged between 8 and 12 years of age to enter The Master Chefs of Great Britain Young Soup Chef of the Year Competition, with the winner being selected by judging panel at FoodFest. Hosted by George Mcivor Chairman of The Master Chefs of Great Britain, four finalists will have the chance to cook live on stage across the Sunday and Monday.

The winner will receive a Master Chefs of Great Britain certificate and plaque and their soup will be featured on Ingliston Country Clubs Palomino’s restaurant menu as a special.  Entries must be submitted by Friday 13th September 2019, please go to Ingliston Country Clubs Facebook Page for more info.
