Scottish Food Fortnight shines spotlight on Perthshire by the lochside

A hotel with some of the finest views in Scotland is shining the spotlight on Perthshire for Scottish Food and Drink Fortnight.

The independent Four Seasons Hotel on the shore of the 11 kilometre long Loch Earn has created its own culinary calendar for the annual festival which will run from 5-20 September.

“We’ll be celebrating the best of Perthshire’s larder,”

said owner Sue Stuart.

“The area produces such an amazing choice of food that our chefs have had a tough task choosing which dishes to showcase but they’ve come up with a marvellous, mouthwatering selection to tempt every palate.”

She added:

“In these difficult times when the country’s hospitality industry is now getting back on its feet it’s especially important to remind ourselves how wonderful eating out can be, especially in Scotland, and with prices starting here from £15 per person these opportunities are accessible to all."

The Four Seasons Hotel’s Food and Drink Festival starts on 5 September with a seafood evening. The programme also includes a Bucks Fizz Sunday brunch, Scottish cheese and wine evening, five course taster menu, game evening, Sunday roast, Chefs’ burger night, a ‘Tartan Tapas’ evening, lobster pots and jellied eels, and afternoon tea.
